Cloud / DevOps Engineer

You're the person who makes sure the code actually runs somewhere — and keeps running at 3 AM when traffic spikes. You build and maintain the infrastructure that developers deploy to, automate everything that can be automated, and get paged when something breaks in production. You speak fluent YAML, have opinions about Kubernetes, and your Slack is 90% alerts. When things are working, nobody knows you exist. When things break, you're the most important person in the building.

What you'll actually do

• 01Stare at Grafana dashboards like they're a Magic Eye poster, waiting for the anomaly that ruins your afternoon
• 02Write Terraform configs that are somehow both infrastructure and poetry — terrible, unreadable poetry
• 03Debug a CI/CD pipeline that worked yesterday, changed nothing, and now fails for reasons that defy physics
• 04Get paged at 2 AM because a pod is OOMKilling and the on-call runbook says 'ask DevOps'
• 05Explain to developers why they can't have root access to production — again — for the fourth time this sprint
• 06Automate a manual process that takes 5 minutes, spend 3 days doing it, then call it a win
• 07Rotate secrets, update certificates, patch CVEs, and wonder if anyone else in the company knows what TLS stands for
