What you'll actually do

• 01Tape edges for 3 hours so the actual painting takes 45 minutes — and nobody appreciates the prep work
• 02Listen to clients argue about 'eggshell vs satin' like it's a life-or-death decision with global consequences
• 03Find paint in your hair, ears, and eyebrows that won't come out for days no matter what you try
• 04Cut in by hand because tape never works perfectly and steady hands are your real superpower
• 05Move furniture that weighs more than you and somehow always has one broken wheel
• 06Breathe in fumes that give you a headache but you've built up a tolerance that probably isn't healthy
• 07Look at every wall in every building and think 'I could do that better' for the rest of your life
