Security Guard

You get paid to stand, sit, and watch — and occasionally remind people you exist. The walkie-talkie is your best friend, the flashlight is your second best friend, and the uniform makes everyone think you're a cop until they actually need a cop. People will test you constantly because you don't carry a badge, night shifts are 99% boredom followed by 1% pure adrenaline, and your patrol route is burned into your muscle memory so deeply you could walk it blindfolded. It's honest work, the barrier to entry is low, and you'll see humanity at its weirdest between the hours of midnight and 6 AM.
