Cashier

You'll scan groceries, make change, and say 'did you find everything okay?' approximately 300 times per shift. It's repetitive, your feet will hurt, and you'll develop a sixth sense for which customers are about to argue about a coupon. But it teaches you how to deal with people, handle money, and stay calm when the card reader says 'declined' for the third time.

What you'll actually do
