Scrum Master
TechnologyYou facilitate meetings, remove blockers, and protect the team from distractions — which sounds noble until you realize half the job is babysitting adults who don't want to update their Jira tickets. You're a servant leader, process guardian, and professional meeting runner who somehow needs to justify their existence every quarter.

What you'll actually do
- 01Facilitate daily standups that are supposed to be 15 minutes but someone always goes on a tangent
- 02Remove blockers for the team, which usually means sending emails to other teams who don't respond
- 03Run sprint retrospectives where everyone says 'communication' needs to improve, again
- 04Shield the dev team from stakeholders who want to add 'just one more thing' mid-sprint
- 05Update burndown charts and velocity metrics that management loves and developers ignore
- 06Coach team members on Agile principles they've heard a hundred times but still don't follow
