Senior Paralegal

You've outlasted three waves of junior paralegals and now you're the one they come to when e-discovery produces 50,000 documents and someone needs to actually organize them. You know the firm's systems better than IT, the case law better than some associates, and you've seen enough depositions to write a screenplay. The pay bump is real, and so is the responsibility.

What you'll actually do

• 01Manage complex litigation files with document counts that would make a librarian weep
• 02Train and supervise junior paralegals who still think Bates stamping is a character from Downton Abbey
• 03Coordinate e-discovery workflows across multiple platforms and vendors
• 04Prepare witnesses for depositions — including the ones who can't stop talking
• 05Draft motions, discovery responses, and briefs that attorneys put their name on
• 06Serve as the institutional memory for cases that have been going on longer than some marriages
