What you'll actually do

  • 01Climb turbine towers (200-300+ feet) for inspections
  • 02Inspect and repair mechanical components while trying not to look down (it's 300 feet)
  • 03Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
  • 04Replace worn parts using hand and power tools
  • 05Collect and analyze performance data from SCADA systems
  • 06Perform safety checks and follow lockout/tagout procedures
  • 07Tell people at parties what you do and watch their faces when you say '300 feet up'
