Curriculum Designer

Education

You create the educational materials, lesson plans, and learning experiences that teachers use in classrooms — which means you design learning without being in the room when it happens. You'll research pedagogy, align content to standards, and build assessments that actually measure what students know. Everyone has an opinion about education, and most of them will contradict your research.

  • 04Pilot curriculum with teachers and revise based on feedback like 'this looks great on paper but doesn't work with real 8th graders'
  • 05Navigate the politics of textbook adoption, vendor contracts, and school board members who think they know better
  • 06Ensure accessibility and differentiation so the curriculum works for every student, not just the hypothetical average one
